The other day in Quirk London we received a brief that required a graphic designer. “Where will we find a precociously talented graphic designer?” wailed a jaded Account Manager. “Hold on,” said a usually timid intern. “Why don’t we just take the brief next door to Alice?”
“Alice? Alice? Who the f**k is Alice?” said the Account Manager in an interrogating manner.
Laboured intro aside, Alice Booth, now Goodall, is in fact Quirk London's sole designer amongst the suits, analysts and other vagabonds of the office.
This Durbanite graduated from Rhodes University with a BA in English Literature and Art History and topped that off by completing a BA in Brand Communication and Graphic Design from Vega Durban. She then skipped over to London to join up with Hattrick Marketing as a Middleweight Designer, spending her days coming up with a range of brilliantly creative ideas and campaigns before deciding to work for an agency that rhymed with “Twerk” (thanks Miley).
A fan of the Hawaiian shirt wearing heartthrob Magnum P.I, Alice is clearly a fan of tranquillity and eternal sunshine, and enjoys nothing more than spending the day on the beach, with a bout of swimming, fishing and a braai thrown in for good measure.
