The ever enthusiastic Daniel Vienings joins the Quirk Jozi family as our new Head of Paid Media. With a Honours degree in BCom Marketing Management from UKZN and having previously worked in Bought Media for the Dentsu Aegis Network at iProspect in Joburg, we’d say he’s sufficiently qualified to “make it rain!”.
Before joining the world of Paid Media, this young adventurer worked on super yachts for 3 years while saving money and travelling. Because of his love for travel, mysteries and, of course, cute dogs, he fancies himself a real life Tin-Tin.
This singing-in-the-rain kinda guy always looks at the glass as half full, and never backs down from a challenge – if there’s a problem, he will find the solution! Although he is always working towards stressing less, he would gladly work in some extra hours if it meant he could contribute towards the discovery of something that could be described as “next level”.
You could find him at a party showing off his legit juggling skills or singing pretty much anything by Credence Clearwater Revival (that is, if Mungo Jerry’s “In the Summertime” is not an option). When taking a break from all Paid Media, you’ll likely see Dan having a look around Lifehacker, Media Post or Think With Google.
