Simon Lloyd

Director of Performance Marketing & Purveyor of Fine Beers

Simon barged into the Jozi Quirkstation in September 2012 as the new Head of Engage. He brings with him a huge appetite for digital and wants to make sure that we deliver effective, quality campaigns for clients across all channels. He studied Business and Marketing in Southern England, mainly to avoid studying geography or history.

Before joining Quirk, Lloydie spent his days managing online brands and development teams in the UK and blogging about speciality beers. He sounds like quite a conscientiousness guy, despite the fact that he has openly admitted to contributing to the majority of greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere.

This new Head of Engage emigrated to South Africa from Blighty, and although you may expect him to bring a strong Liverpool and Norfolk mixed crazy accent, he will not, as he went to speech therapy as a child.

This guy is all about family values and hopes to one day win a cooking competition. With a strong competitive spirit, Simon is holding thumbs for another game of “real-life” Angry Birds, and we’ll be sure to give him a run for his money when the day comes around.
